Hand made items with a native American theme

Hello, my name is Lenice, my name alone has taken me many years in my early days to accept that I had and have never heard anyone else with that name, and it singled me out to feeling different, and why did it make me feel so lonely, I just wanted to be like everyone else then. As the years have moved on and I have found out more and more about the little me, I started to realise that I was the only one in charge of my life and began to be drawn to things that I wanted to know about, such as therapies,

could I succeed in that,? well there's only one way to try, so I did, and I struggled ,sometimes I failed, but I wanted it, so I carried on and went for it again, and I got there, I took Anatomy and Physiology, Massage, Acupressure, I became a Reiki Master, I spent time being a Samaritan, all of these I learnt were my challenges to find out who I was, and of course then I wanted to heal the world when I qualified, I can have letters after my name but what does that prove, what mattered was what I had learnt and that not everybody wants to be healed. so many lessons learnt.

I then found that I wanted to create, what though, couldn't draw or paint, sew, and I became very interested in Native American Spirituality, most of my life is lived and guided in that way, a past life, most definitely, I do own my own Tepee, and whenever I can spend time in it I do. I was drawn to making crafts in leather, from finding myself making a native styled waistcoat with bits of hide, and some beads and tassels and a painting on the back, for a performance on stage at a Pagan Festival in London and it grew from there,

I source my leather from the Nappa Valley in California, I haven't found any to match that is so beautiful and so soft, and so I sit and the bags take on their own design, beaded, painted whatever comes, no two bags are the same. I am blessed and do bless the spirit of the Elk and Deer hides on which I work, when they are received.

My music is Native American drumming and flute, I own many drums and 7 flutes, the drum is connecting me to my heart beat, which misses many beats in my daily life and my flutes connect me to my breath of life, and reminds me to keep breathing in a balanced way.
